Many were wrong. And, usually that's always the case with predictions.......

Every year there's always some team that gets major overhype. People should AT LEAST have SAS & Det in the conference finals every year.

Houston would have given LA a challenge if Yao was there.

Chicago was a really bad pick. Just shows the level of ignorance that exists on Real GM.
The Houston pick, I give it the benefit or the doubt, considering that Yao was out and TMac played with a bum knee and shoulder.

TMac
is a bum, so he always plays with a bum knee and shoulder...

And everyone was wrong, what a surprise! If we could predict this stuff, sports wouldn't be interesting.

I really can't remember a team that was so hyped and flopped so hard, I mean if it was just RealGM hyping Chicago that would have been one thing, but ESPN had them the consensus winner of the east as well.

That's like saying no one would of challenged the Lakers if Bynum was playing.
Should of, could of, would of.

West was okay. East predictions were crap.

well the 3-5 seeding for the west was spot on, even with the utah with the 5th best record taking the 4th.

Nobody knew the Lakers would get Gasol and that Bynum would improve the way he did, so of course the predictions would be wrong.

I'm still stunned with Chicago, man did people ever rank them high.

lakers fans have been saying that since his rookie season; often times resulting in ridicule.
