Actually Barry from Barry's tickets said its more like 7K for courtside seats today on the radio
Notes: Rookie Rudy Gay twisted his left ankle trying to guard McGrady late in the third quarter and limped to the bench. He returned with 5:51 left, then returned to the bench about a minute later - http://www.nba.com/games/20061231/MEMHOU/recap.html

I tried to buy tickets the other day and the cheapest I could find is 200 bucks. That's for the worst seat in the house. Thank god for HD.

I wouldn't pay that much for a Super Bowl ticket, let alone the first game in a playoff series.

7k is the scalpers (Barry's Tickets, Stub Hub, etc) price. The face value is around 3 grand. I saw courtside tickets for game 7 of the west semis on Barry's tickets for around 11 grand.

That's outrageous! I went to the Staples Center last season to see Dallas take on LA. The season ticket holder was unable to attend the game and he sold me his second row seat for $100.

$3 grand for a playoff seat doesn't blow my mind but it certainly is something I would never pay for even if I was a multi millionaire.
