Now that Sasha Vujacic is a star, lets settle something

Post#1 » by JellosJigglin » Sat May 24, 2008 7:14 am

He has been getting a bad rap from guys like Doug Collins and Tirico who continuously claim he gave himself the nickname Machine.

This is just to set the record straight. He did not give himself this nickname. It was started by the Lakers' play-by-play guy and it caught on and spread to the masses. I don't know where the national media got their information from, but it is false.

We should all pay homage to this great player and not disrespect him in the manner Doug Collins continues to do so. He is the future face of the league and players like Lebron James and Dwight Howard are watching the Lakers-Spurs series and shivering from the brilliance of the Machine.

Money is merely paper that humans put a value on. The Machine is not concerned with such things. He was programmed to win a championship.

Man: "How do you give 110 per cent? I give 100% and just get stuck"

Machine: "You just find the 10% from another guy"

He is not like us. He is superior.

I loved the tears streaming down his face in game 1. A machine with feelings and tear ducts.

The Machine does not run on fuel or batteries. He runs on the tears of his tortured victims. He happened to overfill that day.

You're going to need steel-toed boots. I'm still not sure which end would come out more damaged.

Turiaf was too intense he nearly fell asleep towards the end of the clip.

Dear god... I hate that man so much.... like twice as much as I hate Arroyo and Fisher. I don't understand what makes him so annoying but I wouldn't mind buying a pair of steel toes.

I'm so proud of this guy, I despised him so much even just last year to all the way back when he got to LA. I thought he was the biggest scrub who just couldnt hit a shot. I remember in the phoenix series he hit 2 shots in a row, and i was like wow, he might be a factor or something, but he just didnt have enough confidence then.

Now, he is a GREAT role player who brings great shooting and tough D and is perfect for the triangle offense, he's done a awesome job on ginoibili (granted he's not 100 percent) but i just could have never imagined this a couple of years ago. Not a chance.

He's went from complete scrub and awesome role player in a year...

kudos to the machine!!!
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."
