Add up the heights of your starting lineup and let's find how who the tallest teams are.
Lakers without Bynum
33 feet 4 inches
With Bynum
33 feet 7 inches

Pistons starting five comes to 398 inches, 33 ft and 2 in, or an average of 6 ft and 7.6 inches per player.

I'm going to guess Houston.
And just adding the numbers up from espn.com it looks like 33 feet and 9 inches.

There's a MUCH easier way to do this.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/roster?team=lal
This ESPN page shows the average overall height for every team in the NBA.
Lakers stand alone as the tallest team in the NBA, averaging 6-8 in height.

Bynum is 3 inches taller than the player in the starting lineup he will be replacing.

The most useful approach, IMO, although the data is from a couple months ago.

Cleveland:
West=74 in
Wally=79 in
Bron=81 in
Ben=81 in
Z=87 in
402 in total or 33 ft 6 in
It would be 33 ft 5 in if you still believe LeBron is 6'8" but LeBron said himself earlier this year that he's 6'9" 260lbs.

I remember Cleveland had the tallest starting 5 for a while when they had Hughes (6'8 ) Pavolvic (6'8 ) Lebron (6'9) Gooden (6'11) and Z (7'3) before that big trade.
361 total inches.

Your right about Hughes....hes 6'5 my bad. But it says Gooden is 6'10 on NBA and Wiki but I've heard the announcers mention that hes actually 6'11.

Foster - 6'11
Murphy - 6'11
Granger - 6'9
Dunleavy - 6'9
Daniels - 6'6
406 total inches, or 6'9 average.
Actual starting lineup (2/13/08).

Orlando has to be up there with a frontcourt of 6'10'', 6'10'' and 6'11''. Evans is 6'5'' and Jameer brings us down at 6'0'' even.
