I fail to understand why commentators and posters say that Barry didn't "sell the foul". It seems like that attitude would encourage more flopping.

Lakers win game 5 to close this out. Kobe has shot 5 TOTAL FTS IN THE SERIES. No way that happens in game 5.

Lakers gotta put them away in game 5 or else it will go 7.

Deja Vu Portland in 2000 up 3-1, or the Rockets vs Suns in 1995 when the Suns were up 3-1. Lakers need to finish them now.

I'm just going to sit back and watch people waste their time, debating that "no call" over and over again, wasting time and effort. What's done is done. I agree there should have been two free throws, but it wasn't. That's the way the cookie crumbles. **** happens. Any other cliche phrases I can say? You get the point.

Solid handle of it by Pop (Barry/Fisher play), though

Ultimately that's just how it is

Brent Barry should have jumped into Fisher and forced the officials to make the call.

The big question: Can the Los Angeles Lakers send the Defending NBA Champs home to start their offseason....

the crowd will be ready
the spurs will be ready
can the young lakers be ready for the toughest game, to try and close them out....

I can't understand all these whinings, I'm a neutral fan and it was obvious that refs helped the Spurs whole night long. Yeah they made a mistake in the end but blaming the refs for the loss is not classy and fans of a champion franchise shouldn't act like that.

everyone shouldn't talk about the last play cause the Spurs would have lost by more then 10 if they didn't get all the calls in the game anyway. Duncan traveled, so if Barry got that call and Duncan got a travel called you guys still lose by 2

Interesting how the Spurs fans are now commenting on biased officiating, it's usually the reverse with fans from other teams complaining about the refs favoring the Spurs.

I just don't think the Spurs can come back and win this series like they did with the Hornets, if the Hornets series had not gone to 7 games I would be more optimistic but these guys are getting old and banged up.

manu's 3 that should have been a 2 and fisher's shot that should have reset the clock are the stories of the game.

Fisher definitely fouled Barry although Barry wasn't in the act of shooting... However... The refs have consistently not called fouls in those last shot situations for YEARS so I don't know why anyone should have expected anything different tonight.

Lakers should close it out. Manu like in games 1, 2 and 4 will not show up in game 5.

Lakers played one heck of a game but that no call in the end was terrible. Brent Barry pump faked Fisher left his feet brent drew contact and no foul was called. That shoulda been 3 Freethrows or atleast 2

Didnt the same thing happen when billups pumpfaked drew contact from Tony Allen to get the GW Free Throws?

You know it's a foul when your own player, Kobe Bryant, all but admitted it with that smirk on his face when Craig Sager asked if it was a foul.

LOL at ALL the spurs crying over one bad potential NO call, when eVERYTHING else wne their way EXCEPT being able to stop Kobe and the lakers. LOL.

Sorry guys...YOU DIDNT deserve to win the game and you did NOT win the game.

Justice was served.

Fisher's shot hit the rim. Gasol missed two freebies. Kobe didnt back it out. You're lukcy that wanst called otherwise we wouldnt evne have ANYTHING to discuss right now.

LOL at some of you.

Pop and Barry agreed with the no-call, that pretty much settles it.

I personally thought it was a foul, but the Lakers were getting the wrong side of most bad calls up until that one, and the better team won so it's all good

And those are the refs' fault how? I'm not a fan of either team by the way so don't bother using the "because your team lost" come back. It doesn't work when it's not true.
