Detroit had the better record but L.A. won their Conference. Who gets the home-court advantage?

As if homecourt is going to be the final say in this....

Lakers will not have homecourt no matter who they face. Detroit and Boston were the two best teams in the league... they have homecourt, period.

Detroit would. Lakers should due to vastly superior conference.

Even though it's been answered by half a dozen people already, I'm gonna repeat their answers.

Detroit would have home-court advantage

Any way it goes, the Lakers are still going to win.

no they shouldn't. Everyone plays in their own conference and earns their own record. The better team will come out on top in the end anyways.

Detroit vs. LA Finals is actually coming true...kinda. Finally, I picked a bracket correctly.

Detroit in 7.

Detroit:
2-0 against the Spurs this year
1-1 against the Lakers this year*

*the loss to the Lakers happened when Antonio McDyess and Chauncey Billups were injured and the Pistons started Flip Murray as their starting PG. Lakers were full strength (before the Gasol trade).

My personal opinion is the West is not that much better , why ? The West has way more completely abysmal teams then the east has . These teams are allmost free wins for a good team .

Exactly what I posted in a previous thread. Look what a 50-win Nuggets team did in the playoffs; they were an absolute joke.
