What players have done this? I know most African players will stay in North America after their playing days and most Euros will go home. The only Euro I know who is staying in America that I know of off the top of my head is Toni Kukoc.

Smits and Schrempf have permanently moved into the U.S., but they still have Dutch and German citizenship respectively. For the rest, I dunno...

For some Euros, their commitments to their national teams keep them in Europe during the off season, making it less likely they'd move here permanently. The Africans don't have competitive national teams, so they stay year round.

Adonal Foyle just got his US citizenship a few months ago

I never heard that and that is the kind of story our local press would eat up. Now the kids who are born here while they play, AK and Memo have had kids born in Utah are dual citizens for life.

You're right, I am probably mistaken, I just remember hearing before game 6 against the lakers he missed practice and his agent said it was to take care of some visa issue for he and his children or something. So I made a mistake.
