Which team has a better RESUME than the Rockets.
I'm talking about which team lost their best player(T-Mac 1A, Yao 1B) but still wins games.
Rockets w/o Yao or T-Mac - good
Lakers w/o Kobe - Not as good as the Rockets
Spurs w/o Duncan - Not as good as the Rockets
Wizards w/o Arenas - Not as good as the Rockets
Denver w/o AI - Not as good as the Rockets
New Orleans w/o Paul - Not as good as the Rockets
Orlando w/o Howard - Not as good as the Rockets
Boston w/o KG or Pierce - Not as good as the Rockets
Cleveland w/o Lebron - Not as good as the Rockets
PHX w/o Nash - Not as good as the Rockets
Dallas w/o Dirk - Not as good as the Rockets
Utah w/o Deron - Not as good as the Rockets
The only team that might be on the same level is Detroit w/o Billups, who beat Orlando.
CONCLUSION
Rockets when healthy - Best Team in the League

CONCLUSION
Rockets when healthy - Best Team in the League
The deepest team in the NBA when healthy is by far the LA Lakers.
Fisher
Bryant
Odom
Gasol
Bynum
Turiaf (underrated)
Farmar
Ariza (when healthy)
Sasha
Vlad
Walton
Boston is the second or equal. The Celtics w/o Pierce are much better than the Rockets.
This is coming from a die hard Rockets fan.

Lakers can't play good enough defense, or at least that's what the first 2 games were like. If the Lakers win the championship, then I would consider them better than the Rockets when healthy.

ur going to have to factor in lakers MLE next season as well
thats a legitimate 12 man rotation

Your conclusion is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Everything else seems accurate though. Boston w/o Pierce would still have KG and Allen as a great duo though.

Barring injury and Bynum doing his best Shaq impersonation, the Lakers should win 60-70 games. The Rockets still don't have a PG (or a backup). Our bench cannot score to save our lives, and Yao Ming makes our defense worse.

But I do think the Rockets are right behind the Lakers and the Celtics and just about even with the Pistons. I think we would have stood a better chance against than the Lakers than Denver, Utah, or SA.

I find it hard to buy into the logic of a person who states that the Pistons, after six straight ECFs and a championship, are teetering on the edge of being a third tier team while the Rockets, who can't make it out of the first round of the playoffs, are the best team in the league.
Maybe it's just me.

the Rockets are always going to be an "if" team..it's hard to actually assume they're going to be healthy, since their 2 best players are both injury prone..we're always going to hear that with Houston..

I'll like to point out that Mr. Storm's opinion does not reflect the majority of Rocket fans.

well well well... lets see...
i feel that when the rockets are healthy we are top 3 team in the league... but they are never healthy so it doesnt matter...
and we have tmac, so he doesnt help...

Who said the Pistons are a 3rd tier team?
The Rockets need to move Tracy McGrady and Rafer. Even though he is one of my favorite players, this is as high as TMac trade value is going to be, and with all this good young talent coming up in the leauge I think it would be good.
Perhaps the Rockets Hinrich and Thomas and a filler...

Yeah I agree.
We are right behind the Lakers and C's, and even with the Hornets and Pistons.
