ATLANTA -- Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Woodson has been offered a two-year extension, a person close to the negotiations said Thursday.
The person familiar with the situation requested anonymity because the negotiations are ongoing.
Woodson's contract will expire at the end of June.
New Hawks general manager Rick Sund would not confirm the offer to Woodson on Thursday night.
Looks like the new management will keep him. I like this move, keep the continuity with a young team and move forward in the right direction.
