He was at home resting up. He had some pretty serious back and hip problems for a while.

Yeah, but everyday being Fathers day for Bill meant no off days for his kids. Walton was insane with his sons, training them for basketball, intimidating them on game days, etc. Ultimate crazy parent of a child athlete.
