That's a really tough question. Because the Lakers don't really have a Ray Allen, Vujacic and Radman are inconsistent chuckers but I think the talent level of Kobe and Kg would probably compensate for that. I think that Gasol wouldn't have brought the fire and leadership to the Celtics and that Garnett would make every player on the Lakers play better so yes, I think the Lakers would have won.

Arguably, yes. KG is perfect for the triangle. He can shoot and pass, and he's got the size to hang underneath. He's also the defensive presence that Gasol is not. KG had some playoff wins as a #1 whereas Gasol had been swept in all three tries. Gasol meshed well in the tri, but the series certainly could have gone the other way.
