Blazer's Bandwaggoners

1) Greg Oden is coming off a major surgery
2) Bayless is NOT a PG. If you saw him at Arizona trying to run the point guard when Wise got hurt you should know this.
3) Assuming they keep all those players and they are as good as everyone says they are, by the time they are mature it is going to be time to resign all of them
4) Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, Al Jefferson, Rodney Stuckey, Lebron James, and Dwayne Wade all still play in the NBA last time I checked.
This infatuation with potential disgusts me.

Rodney Stuckey is as good as any of those "prospects" these bandwaggoners are salivating over.

Dude, it's the Blazers, not the Blazer. Second, Bandwagon doesn't have two "g"s. Third, your irrational hatred of the Blazers is laughable. Stop hatin' on the Blazers. They've been out of the playoffs for over half this decade and now they have a great GM. While your team won two 'ships in the '90s, the Blazers haven't won since the days of Bill Walton.

1. Wow, didn't know Greg Oden was injured. Thanks for the info.
2. Yeah, Bayless is not going to be a true point guard in Portland. Brandon Roy will handle the ball in important situations. He was drafted for his scoring.
3. And they will resign all of them if they want. Paul Allen is one of the richest and best owners in the NBA. He will deal out the money if needed for a winning product.
4. Your point?

One can't deny from the younger teams they have the best shot at becoming a dynasty.

1) So I guess injuries don't matter because we are playing NBA 2K8
2) So you want to continue to play Brandon Roy out of position and not have him off the ball? Why?
3) It's called a salary cap and a luxury tax. I guess he will just sign everyone on his "dynasty" to max deals.
4) Most dynasties I've seen in the NBA have had a top 5 player. The Blazers wont even have a top 10 player.
Try again.

1) Last I checked Oden's knee is 95% healthy at the moment.
2) Roy can play the PG easily. It's not even considered out of postion for him.
3) He can sign the core of Oden, Roy and Aldridge max deals. It won't be a problem.
4) You know this how?

How is that crazy?
Before the season I thought he was going to be the best freshman in college. I watched Bayless extensively at Arizona. He is not that good. He cannot defend. He cannot run PG. He is at most Jason Terry. There is a reason he dropped so much in 2 months.
I love the assumption Greg Oden is going to be as good as he was before the injury without playing 1 minute in the NBA.
Brandon Roy is a 2 guard. He can run point but he is better equipped to be a 2 guard. This wont happen.
Good luck resigning all those "potential stars" and getting them to stick around for limited minutes.

Umm wow, so I guess people aren't allowed to get excited for NBA teams nowadays.

I'm not whining because my Rockets are still way better, and even if they weren't I wouldn't care.
All I am saying is that people are acting like this is a video game and just because you stockpile the best young talent you are going to be a dynasty.
Let's be real. I'm out.
