I'm glad you asked. He played tonight here in Brazil with team Brazil against Venezuela,a friendly match that s part of the preparation of the brazilian team to the pre-olympics tournament in Athens next month.

As always,he found his way to yet another pathetic play wich i can't even explain how it happened.

Plus,he almost got into a fight, got pushed by three players from Venezuela and just stood there without fighting back.He is playing in Russia.

I can't freaking believe that this guy represents my country, but at least he shows more pride than guys like Barbosa and Nene, both of them are pissing me off.

I love Hoffa, I always saw some potential in him..he's one of the hardest works and strongest players in the NBA..he has a jumper..he's just terrible when it comes to rotating on defense, and has no post game whatsoever..makes bad decisions all the time..

the potential is always there though IMO..he just needs a good coach..and the Raptors drafted him way too high, so he got too much pressure..

Too bad they don't have American Football in Brazil.

Does anyone have a box score to that Brazil vs. Venezuela game. Those are my two favorite South American teams.

I don't have the whole box-score,but i can tell you Hoffa's stats.2 points and 7 rebounds.

Splitter though,i love watching him play,he is such a stud and NBA ready,20 points and 10 rebounds.Too bad he will stay at Tau.We have another friendly game against them in an hour or so.

I liked him. He was a great guy, just not very good. My wife and I ran into him at the airport. We sat and talked for about 30 minutes, even took a picture of him with my wife. She sure loved that. I wish him the best of luck.

Don't hate on him for not being that good... hate on Babock for drafting him with the #8. What's he supposed to do? Say "Hey I am not really good enough to be picked at #8, you should pass on me."

You left out his two achilles heels: he's a complete moron and lacks coordination. After you've airballed your 35th wide open layup you get the impression it doesn't really matter who your coach is.

Hoffa was one of the worst players to ever come through the league since the new millennium.

He had no talent, he got his guaranteed contract from using steroids and banking on the idiot Babcock to pick him.

Now if someone wanted to be funny they would say he changed his name to Kevin Love. That's supposed to be a joke.
