What 60+ win Teams have been swept in the playoffs in league history?
I can remember a few off the top of my head.
1996 Orlando Magic was 60-22 and they got swept 4-0 by the Bulls
1998 LA Lakers were 61-21 and they got swept 4-0 by the Jazz
1975 Washington Bullets were 60-22 and they got swept 4-0 by the Warriors
Are those the only occurrences of a 60 win team being swept in the playoffs?

Considering these sweeps were actually very deep in the playoffs (at least Conference Finals), it doesn't hurt as much unless you were a fan of those teams at the time.

I think it goes to show that a 60 win team shouldn't be getting swept in the playoffs.

Even when facing the 72-win Bulls squad?

Gotta agree with Prime. It's okay for a 60 win team to sweep a 48 win team, I'm sure, but a 72 win team sweeping a 60 win team is a travesty? Why?

No I don't think a 60 win team should sweep a 48 win team. Maybe a 40 win team.
You have to get brutally owned to get sweept. In fact to lose four games straight outside of the Finals is terribly owned. At least two of those were on your opponents homecourt [if Finals it could be 1 away game].
Typicall though 60 wins is the landmark of a great contending team.

Yep, the Magic got pwned. I attended one of the home games, actually.
But yeah, I remember thinking during the first two series of the playoffs that I hoped the Bulls would somehow lose because there was little chance the Magic were going to take them out.
The Magic were swept all three times to end their playoff runs during the Shaq/Penny era.
(3-0 Indiana, 4-0 Houston, 4-0 Chicago)
