None of the above. Why is Philly continung to be in the news when they're cap flexiblity is not even that serious?

Unless Iggy takes a paycut(starting salary of 8-9 million), and they renounce Louis Williams (a young combo guard with a load of upside and could demand a Max MLE offer), they're aren'tt getting either.

Smoove and Biendrins are really pipe dreams.. And the Clippers can pay Brand signicantly more money.

"One team that could potentially make a run at Arenas is the Philadelphia 76ers, but they already have a point guard in Andre Miller and likely will look to add a forward this summer with the $11 million they have available. Philadelphia could make a run at Jamison, who drove up his value last season by averaging 21.4 points and 10.2 rebounds." Washington Post

HIGHLY DOUBT it would happen but still an interesting rumour...

"Elton Brand said on Monday that he is opting out of the final year of his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, but that he hopes to re-sign with the team.

"We're opting out," Brand said. "It definitely doesn't mean I'm leaving the Clippers. We're trying to work it out. My intention is to stay.""

I don't see the relevance of Biedrins and Philly (nor in the past when he's been mentioned there)... Dalembert's already there, better on both ends of the court, and is bigger overall.

According to Stephen A. Smith 4 months ago... Ron Artest. No.

There was a good thread on Philly's cap situation a week or so ago. From what i remember due to several circumstances (most notable i believe it was an Iggy QOffer?) they aren't as serious free agent contenders as you'd think.

I can't really see any big free agents going Philly regardless.

The only one they have a chance of signing is Brand but if the Clippers sign Baron Davis (which looks very likely), then Brand will stay in LA.

what B.Diddy to LAC? I haven't heard that.

Idk about PHIL signing a young star. I wonder how much of cap room they will have left after re-signing Iggy.

Louis Williams should command a full MLE. Hell if not the Celts should strongly consider giving him a full MLE over Posey.

After counting Iggy & Lou Williams we have about 12 million in cap space. Even if we strike out in free agency we could use it in a trade.
