JW, Does anyone know if you are allowed to S&T a RFA for another RFA?

For exapmle, if chicago wanted to make a run at Emeka, would they be allowed to use Deng or Gordon in a S&T?

You use the Bird rights to sign the player at whatever contract the other team wants to pay (and makes the trade work), and then you trade him. So yes, you could sign both and then make a trade. A S&T is very simple, the other side only comes in to negotiate the contract with the player, since they will be the one paying it.
