The Warriors never offered Baron more than 3 year deal.

Hahahaha I really hope he takes it(nothing against the Clippers, just it would be the ultimate irony if it did).

Hopefully he goes to a team that wants to win, I really want to see the guy win, hes a very talented player on both sides of the court, and with the right supporting cast he can take a team far.

They should have offered when Baron was still around, no need to leave now.

Warriors with Brand would probably compete just as well as Clippers with Brand and Baron. Who knows how much time Baron will miss now that he has $65 mil guaranteed. And Clippers can't even raise their offer to match the Warriors. I think the Warriors are going to do this to every potential free agent, to drive up salaries and to get teams in salary cap hell. I think Mullin knows what he's doing. He knows Gil and Brand weren't going to take his offers.

This offseason is crazy. Would be interesting. A tandem of Ellis and Brand, with Sjax, Biedrins, etc. would actually be a very interesting team.

wow that would be hilarious if brand agrees. but i think brand stays, he already expressed that he would love a celtic type situation with stars coming together. he gets a chance to play with a franchise level pg and stay with his home team. i dont see brand jumping ship.

Judging from his comments, I can't imagine Brand just going to the Warriors. He said he wanted to stay if we signed a major free agent to take this team in the right direction. They went out and got Baron Davis. The Clippers have Brand's bird rights. As far as I know, if they sign Davis first, they can match whatever Golden State offers anyway.

OMG, please Brand sign with Golden State. It would be so damn funny!
