none..

just because the best player on your favorite team throws teammates under the bus and asks to be traded, it doesn't mean it's gonna happen on other teams too..

stop disrespecting the great city of Oklahoma and their great franchise..

this thread should be locked..

Harlem your like the girl who can't get over the guy she let get away. Dude get over it . The thread was in reference to players being on record of not liking the city.
And you can bet you last dollar that one of those guys will bitch to be traded out of OKC. Remember big city guys don't like small cities. Book it.

And even if they don't ask to be traded once their contracts are up they'll leave as free agents.
That city and franchise will never draw the big name free agent EVER.

You say next as if someone already has. Who has?

Durant doesn't seem too fond of Bennett, and hates what he's doing.

I see him as the most likely to leave.

As a fan of my Seattle Sonics [not OKC], I'd say Damien. He spoke out about the move in the local paper and seemed pretty upset about it.

There's also guys like Nick Collison who has come out and said that Seattle has become his home and is prepared to do the commute in order to keep his family here..so he may be on that list of people who aren't looking forward to playing in OKC.

Where do you classify bitter Sonics fans?

Get a (basketball) life, get another team not named Oklahoma!

I know this question wasn't directed to me, but I sure as heck would love to play in OKC. Pay me a few million dollars per YEAR to play a game? Yea, I think I could stick it out in Oklahoma City for a while!

Plus not every city is Miami/LA/NYC... I wouldn't particularly want to play in Sacramento or Minneapolis or Detroit either. You go wherever the best situation for you is.

Durant is going to bolt to Portland whenever he becomes a FA to team up with Oden. It's inevitable.

As fun as that would be, Portland will have all of their cap room next off season. After that point they will need to extend Roy, Aldridge and Oden the following year, thus eating up any cap space.

Durant would have to demand a trade to Portland alienanting every other team in the league, because I doubt Bennett would be keen to grant his spoiled players request.

Then again Portland probably has the best assets to actually trade for him, so........

Durrant has already called Bennett a fat ass, and Bennett has already sent emails saying boohoo to his players. I would love to see no FA's ever wanting to sign with OKC.

Coincidentally, Durrant and Jeff Green should be FA's just about the time that Seattle is in line for anther team. If that happens I would be so happy. Seattle get's expansion in 4 years, and Durrant and Green bolt back to Seattle. F you Bennett

I hope it's Durant; I'd hate to see him toil in obscurity for four years.

I hope it's Jeff Green. He was my favorite Sonic but I can't cheer for that team at all.

Collison will be looking elsewhere. He already said he didn't want to move.

As opposed to Minnesota, Memphis, San Antonio, Sacramento, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Utah, New Orleans?

What is wrong with any of those cities? I wonder how many of those cities most realgm'ers have been to?

As for Minneapolis, aside from the cold weather half of the year, it is a great place to live. The other half of the year the weather is just perfect.

I've never been to Oklahoma City, but I'm sure if you gave it a chance it would be a nice place to live as well. Not every place is going to be NY or LA and those places probably have more negatives than positives.

Obviously you think NBA basketball is all about being on the court and being happy with what city you play in huh ?

You need to understand that here in AMERICA the marketing dollar is almost as potent as your own contract. You tell me smart guy what star player would flourish in a mid west city like Oklahoma City ?

And I've been watching the pro game long enough to know that city will never get a high caliber player, trust me I know what I'm talking about.

Durant isn't going anywhere. This is a business and the players will live with the move and play on. If the crowds were half as loud as they were for the Hornets then I'm sure everyone will be fine.

Watching the NBA for a long time doesn't qualify you on this issue.

Remember that last year everyone said Durant would hate being stuck in the Pacific Northwest and not playing for the Celtics or Knicks.
