Portland could use a good, veteran, defensive oriented SF.

Golden State Warriors.

PG: Monta Ellis || Marco Belinelli || CJ Watson ||
SG: Corey Maggette || Kelenna Azubuike ||
SF: Stephen Jackson || Anthony Randolph || Matt Barnes ||
PF: Al Harrington || Brandan Wright || Richard Hendrix ||
C: Andris Biedrins || Ronny Turiaf || Kosta Perovic ||

I love the roster so far; doesn't look great on paper but on the court they can definitely compete with any team.

This team will win a lot of games, but will still be a fringe playoff team because they need the youngsters to develop for 1 year more before they start dominating. For now, if the team was really trying to go deep in the postseason (which I doubt they will) they need a inside presence that can score and rebound, along with a veteran point guard. That's about it.

How is Biedrins coming along? Has he developed post moves and is he a guy that you can throw the ball to down low and expect to score or open up the lanes next season? He was a pretty good rebounder and shot blocker from what I'd seen of him last season. Anyways Ronny Turiaf is not a center and more of a PF so you might need more depth at the C position.

B Wright I think jumped the gun by declaring for the draft a season too early in my opinion and he would have become more refined had he stayed at UNC for another year.

Biedrins is good; he's getting better at initiating his own offense, but still needs work. So far he's only valuable because of his 'velcro hands' and speed; you just gotta make a good pass to him down low and he's sure to put it in the hoop against almost any other center in the league. He's still only 22, hopefully he has a breakout season where he's able to bring out a variety of post moves.

And yeah, Ronny isn't a center but Nellie is stupid anyways so he'll probably still play him at the '5'. Brandan Wright should have stayed in college like you said, but in the Warriors offense he'll be able to fit in well with his quickness and length. He rarely got a chance to show what he can do last season because of limited playing time. When Biedrins was out rehabbing from appendectomy surgery, Brandan got the starting C job and did fairly well; made a bunch of nice baskets, nothing too special although he did show off his length when he dunked on Josh Smith and blocked several of Kevin Durants shots.

I forgot to add Kosta Perovic on Golden State's roster. He's a 7 footer but I really don't like him. We could have kept Patrick O'Bryant if Nellie wasn't such a bitch about him; I really feel that Patrick would have done incredibly well on the Warriors if he got playing time... i'm expecting him to take Perkins' starting center spot by mid season, now that he signed with Boston.

Houston is a two-man army that sorely needs another scorer on the team, Philadelphia is a young team that lacks sharpshooting essential to the half-court.

That pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.

Orlando

#1 - solid rotation PG behind Jameer as well as a 3rd string PG, preferably a veteran.
#2 - a banger PF or C that will fight it our down low, grab some boards and play some defense.

Detroit

#1 - A true center who can rebound and defend; decent scoring would be a bonus
#2 - A backup SF who is at least serviceable on both ends

Arenas/Daniels/Brown
Stevenson/Young
Butler/McGuire
Jamison/Blatche/Songaila
Haywood/Thomas/Pecherov

The Wizards biggest need right now is a competent defensive backup small forward. Dominic McGuire could be that guy this year. Last year, he showed promise on defense but for the most part was ineffective and only good for rebounding.

Celtics-

Resign James Posey or they better find somebody to fill his shoes.

Backup point guard if Pruitt is not ready to take over.

Backup center, still not sold on Patrick O'Bryant. But some Warriors fans seem to think he has some talent.

LA Clippers
BDavis/Knight/Mike Taylor
Mobley/Gordon
Thornton/Marcus Williams
?/Tim Thomas/Fazekas
Kaman/Powell/DeAndre Jordan

Chances are we reseign Paul Davis, Shaun Livingston, and Quinton Ross. Clippers need to fill in the PF hole that Brand left behind.

Big SG that can shoot the 3 and is at least average defensively to put next to Rose.
A physical C who can score in the post and is a physical rebounder.

Miami Heat:

PG - Marcus Banks/Mario Chalmers/Chris Quinn(FA)
SG - Dwyane Wade/Daequan Cook
SF - Shawn Marion/James Jones/Dorell Wright(FA)/Kasib Powell
PF - Michael Beasley/Udonis Haslem/Stephane Lasme
C - Mark Blount/Joel Anthony/Zo(might come back mid-season)

I listed the free agents that I think will be signed, while I didn't list the free agents that I think we will let go of (Davis, JWill).

Needs: Starting PG, Starting C

Pistons Need:

Offensive minded center who can rebound
Depth on the wings, a slasher would be preferred.

It would be a huge risk, high reward if we could try to get Eddy Curry. He is the complete opposite of what Piston dna represents, but I think we could get him without giving up one of our starters and add him and his 15 ppg and 7 rebounds would be huge for us. Our only real flaw on offense was guys who could create for themselves and easy buckets and Curry can provide both. Every Piston fan hates the idea, but I think it would be worth the risk.
