Starting 5s?

With all the trades and free agent signings going on I have lost track of many teams starting 5s (pot and other things have also killed my memory). I know that many teams arent finished with their offseasons and their line ups will change from now and the begining of the season. But just put in what your predicted starting 5 are for your respective team. Thanks

Il start of with the Magic which is almost the same as it was last season

Howard
Lewis
Turkoglu
Pietrus?
Nelson

And BTW...
I think the Magic should trade Hedo before he asks for a lot of money for a real pf.
Something like Chris Wilcox and a Future 1st for Hedo Turkoglu which works on the trade checker.
You guys I think would be even more dangerous with an explosive, very good rebounder who can shoot the J like Wilcox who can support Howard really well.

I like a lot more
Nelson
Pietrus
Lewis
Wilcox
Howard

What's with the Fran Vasquez fiasco he wasnt a lottery pick for no reason?

Thank you man I love you, you have said what I have believed since the day we traded for Lewis. A conventional starting 5 is the way to go. I have no idea what makes the Magic front office (or fan base for that matter) believe that we can wwin while playing small ball. The Suns, Nuggets, and Warriors have had no success even getting to the finals what makes the Magic think they all of a sudden figured it out? I don't know but I wish they would do something like what you just said.

Some are more frequently updated than others, but saving any one of these links might be of future use...

NBA.com Depth Charts

ESPN Depth Charts

Inside Hoops Depth Charts

Hoops Hype Depth Charts

Utah will remain unchanged:

Williams-Brewer-Kirilenko-Boozer-Okur

Looks like NBA.com has a whole h*ll of a lot of changing to do to the Hornets depth chart. They still have guys on there that didn't even play for the Hornets in 07-08. I haven't even peeped out the other depth charts. Depth charts shouldn't even be looked at until the offseason is over and all transactions are finished taking place.

Anyway, the Hornets starting 5 will most likely be like last season..

Paul
Peterson
Stojakovic
West
Chandler

The Celtics say otherwise.

Phoenix Suns:

Pg: Steve Nash
sg: Raja Bell
sf: Grant Hill
pf: Amare Stoudemire
c: Shaquille Oneal

Key bench players: Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw

Still easily a championship calibur team, but they must win now.

PACERS

PG - T.J. Ford/Jarrett Jack
SG - Mike Dunleavy/Brandon Rush
SF - Danny Granger/Shawne Williams
PF - Troy Murphy/Jeff Foster
C - Roy Hibbert/Rasho Nesterovic

I think 1-3 are guaranteed, with the possibility of Foster or Murphy at power forward, and Foster, Rasho, or Hibbert at center. I'm obviously pulling for the guy with the upside to get the starting job.

PG - Carter
SG - Iverson
SF - Anthony

I'm not sure Trade Exception's ready. I'd rather the Nuggets give him and Second Round Pick a short spell in the D-League for seasoning, provided they're eligible.

Therein lies the key to the phrase "future use". Though, clearly a distant future in some cases. For example, if you want to learn of the Hornets' rotation for season 2008-09, you can check out NBA.com just as the London Olympics are rolling around.

As you noted, Copperhead, Brandon Bass is still a Hornets player according to the league's official website. It's not like he was mired in obscurity at the Mavs last season, either. And it's the league's official website! I hope the guys in the office charged with monitoring the salary cap are approaching their job with a little more gusto than the website department.

We'll be top 3 in the East either way. But we lose scoring (20ppg) and playmaking (5apg) with Hedo so we can get a marginal rebounder at PF? People are way too obsessed with the conventional starting lineup. Especially considering Rashard is not even small for a PF.

It's on their "fantasy" page but just because it's the official website doesn't mean it's always right. Heck even just last night on the front page there was a title "Blazers survive Overtime Scare". It was actually the Kings that survived the scare and won the game. They make mistakes too. Thank goodness the fans of the teams are more in tuned to the actual depth of the team than some of these websites. I'm surprised they don't still have George Lynch and Elden Campbell listed there.

It was cool of you to provide those links for everyone.
