Your fav player's best and worst game?

Post#1 » by Point forward » Fri Jul 18, 2008 9:19 am

Typical offseason thread I admit, but what the hell. I'll start with my man Dirk.

BEST: 50 points vs PHX in Game 5 of the WCF Finals 2006. The Mavs trailed 70-77 and Dirk got taunted by Tim Thomas, and then he simply torched the Suns with 22 (!) points in the 4th quarter.

WORST: Game 6 in the notorious GSW series 2007. MVP-to-be and then just 8 points on 2-13 and looking totally bewildered, like a rabbit staring into the headlights of a lorry. I felt physically sick.

fav player's always been a toss between ellis and baron, but since baron left, i guess it's ellis.

my fav game and i also think it's his best is his game vs celtics this year. i've never seen the other team be so tight on defense on ellis before, that definitely was his breakout game as the celtics played ellis like an elite player. Ellis took care of the defense pressure as he finished with 26 pts and 9 asts. he showed that he can play point position under a great team defensive pressure. baron did hit the game winning shot though...

worst game, i dont know... ellis usually doesn't play bad games. most consistent warrior by far.

Favorite player is Randy Foye, best game, last game of the season vs. the Bucks.

13/18 from the field, and 4/5 from 3-point range. One turnover, 32-4-4

Worst game...

Dwyane Wade (regular season):

BEST: 40/4/10/4/4 while shutting down Kobe on X-mas.

WORST: Jamal Crawford put up 48 on Wade.

Best game- Had tons of great games as a Sixer but my favorite is-

Game 2, 2001 Playoffs at home to the Raptors, after losing game 1.

54 points in a must win game.

Durant,

After being beaten by 50 or whatever it was in our previous meeting against the Nuggets he put up 37pt, 8rb and 9ass to lead the Sonics to an 2OT win. He also hit a 3 at the end of both regulation and the 1st OT to keep the game alive.

Closely followed by his final game of the season. Season high in points and boards, 42 and 13 aswell as 6 dimes. Going 18-25 from the field (73%).

Worst..... Probably 4-17 and 8to's against Minny. Though we did win.
