Deron Williams and Chris Paul are unquestionably better than Jason Kidd at this point in Kidd's career.

But I think Kidd's experience and size will be a huge asset in the international game. So my pick is Kidd.

Will Deron Williams or Chris Paul assume the majority of the minutes as Kidd's backup?

Chris Paul was tremendous this season.

But I think D-Will's size and shooting ability will give him the edge when it comes to the international game. Paul struggled in 2006. The international game is much more physical and Chris doesn't have a lot of size. Opposing guards were able to body him up.

Your thoughts?

I think Deron will, or should.
He will do best against the bigger stronger pg's like those in the Greek team
Chris Paul will get the bulk of minutes against smaller guards.
Kidd cant get it done anymore and i dont think he will get much burn after the exhibition games are done.

I think Paul will. He's just flat out one of the top players in the world.

I see Kidd getting more minutes than Deron. Deron is clearly the better player at this point, but I think the leadership and chemistry that he had with the other players, setting them up for shots was invaluable last summer.

Kidd will easily. He's the starter, he hasn't lost in an international game and what are you basing Kidd not being able to get it done anymore? Because he was on a Dallas team that was in complete chaos or the triple double machine he was in New Jersey? Until Kidd completly falls off, he is still the best leader for this team. He won't look for his own shot, which is a benefit, unlike Paul and Williams will, he is the best passer of the group and has the best knowledge of the game. Paul and Williams are the future of USA basketball and in 2012 they will be competing for the starting job, but this year, its Kidd all the way.

probably kidd because he's a vet point guard and the players seem to respect him a lot

J kidd and paul will probably split the same amount of minutes and deron will play a little less. IDK whos starting but whoever it is will probably get the most playing time

Kidd will get the most minutes. paul will back him up, and Deron will have to be content to waive a towel.

I want to see them put the best players out there. Paul with Deron backing up, it couldnt be any better.

The starter will get most of the minutes. Otherwise, he wouldn't be starting. Williams is the next best option in half-court, international basketball. Paul is the next best option if they want to run all the time and apply the full-court press.

While i think kidd and paul will get the majority of the minutes. I think Deron is better suited for this team than either one.

Jason Kidd is still the best passer on the team. That's whay they need from that spot. All the 3 PG's will probably get pretty even playing time though.
