Ok the kid blew out his knee a few years back and is trying to work his way back in the NBA. My question is would this be a fair contract to both the player and the team?

3 years for 5 mill front loaded 1st year guaranteed the next 2 options?
It would look like this. year one 2 mill, year two team option 1.5 mil 3rd year player option 1.5 mill.

I think it would be. He is a gamble so that is why only the first year is guaranteed.

He was pretty fragile even before he got hurt so where does that horrific injury leave him now? He could have a future with some team but he's surely got a giant task ahead of him now.

No more than a 2 year deal at the LLE.

I've read that he may not even be able to play this season. After seeing that horrific injury, you have to wonder whether he will ever be able to play again on a consistent, long-term basis.
