Brevin Knight can actually be a decent backup PG if he stays healthy, whereas Hart cannot.

I just hope Jerry doesn't get a McLeod man crush and start giving extended minutes to Knight at the 2.

This could actually be a decent trade for Utah. But this is pretty much trade a body for a body. Gerald Green for Kirk Snyder last year, Cedric Simmons for David Wesley...all the way back to when a player named Uwe Blab was traded for Christian Welp back in 89-90, that was the most pointless trade I ever saw and still is. 12th man center with no real skill for 12th man center with no real skill who played for the Canadian Olympic team way back when.

Knight should be effective for Sloan, Hart is tall.

And I'm not sure who said it, but they were wrong. Knight was a key Bobcat for their 1st 3 seasons (not the 2nd and 3rd season).

Happy Jazz are at least active is removing their bad seeds from last season. the Hart signing upset alot of people in Utah becaus it pushed Dee Brown out the door ( a fan favorite). Everyone thought Hart would produce much more that Dee, but in the end all we did was spend alot more money for absolutely nothing. Had we resigned Dee and not made the push for Hart, we'd be in the exact same position that we are in today... except Deron would be a little happier because Dee would still be around.... which is plenty reason for me, keep the man happy!
Bye Bye Sloan, Good Riddance Deron. Hello new Era in Jazz Basketball.

Earlier posters were laughing about Darren Morningstar and Walter Bond being two of the worst Jazz players ever.

I used to do media relations for a minor league team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and they were both on the team at different times.

They weren't even good players on those teams.

Did they ever have Paul Grant?

Brevin Knight, with the reputation of being lazy and a locker room cancer, is now playing for his third team in three years. BK has been bought out and traded for what Jazz fans view as virtually nothing all barely within a calendar year. This should tell you something about Brevin Knight.

Regardless, this is an excellent trade for both teams.

He also makes a three quarter million less.

Getting rid of Hart was the best news I've heard in a while...
Knight isn't much of a scorer but he's at least a upgrade

Ronnie Price is our backup point anyways
