Who cares - the WNBA is absolutely terrible. No one wants to watch Men on a balance beam professionally, no one wants to watch Women on a basketball court professionally.

From the reports I've read she has stayed in pretty good shape and never really stopped playing. They had a picture of her playing against guys much younger than her, so I'm sure she can play in the WNBA again.

11 years ago, in 1997, she played a season with the Phoenix Mercury. She was only able to post 2.6pts, 1.3rebs and 1.6asts in 11.2mpg and 25 games played. Even for publicity stunts, this looks to be just awful.

Get rid of the WNBA and start using that money to give NBA players bigger salaries so they stop running off to Europe for bigger paydays.

A lot of WNBA teams are not owned by NBA teams, so that would not affect anything.

I agree it was a pretty stupid publicity stunt though, they could have at least given a young girl with a dream the chance to play.

young girls belong in bedroom not play without makeup and heavily clothed in an empty arena with a bunch of 30 year olds.
