lmao. 10mill? This is getting ridiculous.
Im looking forward to seeing Stern sit on his ass and not do anything about this.
edit: Ahh, 10mill total. I thought that wouldve been his salary.
5mill is reasonable, even for an american offer.

This is getting interesting, it's like an arms race between Khimki and Dynamo. I think it's great for basketball. Hey Delonte, go to Russia!

I don't care about all the Garbajosas, Navarro's or Loren Woods going overseas.....but Childress & West are legit rotation players in the NBA. The league is already diluted enough.

Other then rediculously raising the salary cap or getting rid of it all together I dont see what they can do. Also the owners have to agree to getting rid of the cap and be willing to top or match these offers.

Um....do what? Prevent free agents from leaving the country?
NBA has been signing/drafting guys from Europe for years and years. Now some Euro teams have the money to sign NBA guys, and they're going to target the guys who play for NBA teams who are trying to lowball them.
Welcome to the real world. The best soccer teams in the world like Manchester United and Real Madrid have to deal with losing players to other leagues ALL THE TIME.

$5 million after taxes in Dynamo. The Yahoo writer hasn't figured that out yet in any of his articles. It's like a $9 million a year gross NBA contract for Delonte West. I owned that European Salaries Are Catching Up To The NBA thread hardcore.

it starts with the 'average' players then above average players think 'hey this average guys making more then me wtf' and then it turns into above average talent...
another serious thing to consider is that now below average players are going to be taking these players spots in nba rotations... so the overall quality of the game will decrease because the market of teams has gotten bigger...
lol i can still remember the days when david stern thought well when basketball becomes a global game the nba will have more talent so it doesnt matter if theres 30 teams... well THINK again david
