I'm sure many of you will remember this:

http://www.nypost.com/seven/07182007/sp ... berman.htm

The article where Marbury says he's planning on playing in Italy when his contract is up... Stephon "Starbury" took a lot of flak for saying this but, look at what's happening now! Starbury was ahead of his time, so it's time er'body gives him his due and respects greatness for what greatness is.

Real recognize real yo. Believe dat. Starbury.

Some peoples made fun of Stephon Marbury for wanting to go to Italy to play basketball when his contract was over. But now the idea doesn't seem that odd... Think of it this way with Marbury's business skills alone he'll command a 20 mil contract overseas, add in his godly point god talents and that's like $40 mil, a year. Book it. Believe dat. Stephon Marbury.

Yeah and his $15 sneakers are also way before their time. Eventually, all of mankind will wear shoes made from real garbage for $1!

All I see is a guy wanting to play in Italy because he knows no NBA team is going to want him at this point in his career, whereas the other players who've bolted or are considering bolting are still wanted by NBA teams. I'm sad to see Childress leave the NBA, but something tells me I won't be sad to see Marbury go.

Marbury:We got Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph! Random Idiot:YES SIR!!

Reporter: Is this the move that puts you over the edge?
Marbury: Oh, Beyond!

How is that embarrassing? They got a beast to throw the ball down low too. Not to mention they got a younger and youthier player.

I'm sure some NBA team will be willing to sign Marbury when his contract with the Knicks is up, I mean if guys like Kris Humphries can get a NBA contract the best point guard in the Atlantic Division should be able to get one as well.

I don't see what's so funny about being the #1 point god in the NBA.

Marbury comes off as a homeless guy in that video, which is a step above who he usually comes off as.
