Dwyane Wade is back!!!!!!!!

Post#1 » by Texas Longhorns » Sat Jul 26, 2008 3:25 pm

Well.. I'm surprised this topic doesn't have a thread of its own. It's been over a year since we've seen special things from Dwyane Wade, or at least for me, and now I think he's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This video proves it all... >>>>>>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vtI0-s44gA

EDIT: P.S. Flash3 will be all over this topic, he will probably bookmark it, take a picture of it, print it out, and frame it, as well as make it his homepage until everyone agrees with him that D-Wade is the best player in the world! haha just messin with ya Flash..

Ehh, 1 game doesn't prove much (but throw that theory out of the window for now) :D

As a Heat fan I was ecstatic to see Wade moving freely and effortlessly out there, and not noticably limping or anything as he ran up and down the court. And, it was also great to see him trying to dunk everything he got, something he did very little of all last season.

Now, as an NBA fan, I'm even more happier, because he's one of those players that gets you out of your seats at least 3 times a game, (maybe more when you get up to complain about the officiating, but that's another story); and the NBA was missing that all of last season, including the post-season.

Either way, if we can get Wade back to WADE status, the World's going to have issues (even more so) with him coming off the bench as our 6th man. -- LeBron/Wade go to the bench, we bring in Wade and we should still allow to go full force with our pedal to the ground.

He looked great out there. It'll be nice to have him come in as a backup scorer. Go team usa

One game against a very over-matched opponent is hardly a barometer for whether Wade is "back." About all you can really say is that it looked like Wade's rehab and hard work has paid off.

While Canada wasn't really a team that could help the U.S. prepare for what they'll face in the Olympics, I do feel this game was somewhat necessary to give the team some confidence. I think Wade, in particular, needed a solid game under his belt, given it was his first game since going through all the rehab.

Hopefully the team continues to build and improve.

He needs to go to Tim Grover after every season.

He looked great last night, I must admit. To have a guy like that come off your bench, I mean he'd be the best player for any other FIBA team (at least second if you are a Laker or Spur fan) as long as he keeps his turnovers down and shot percentage up, I won't complain.

I'm happy the guy looks healthy and I hope he lost the tentativeness he developed playing with the injury most of last season.

So much for all of the people on the trade board trying to trade him for pennies on the dollar.

In all seriousness though, he just needed some real rest. A few months of not banging it around and he's hopefully good as new. He's easily the 2nd best SG in the league when he's healthy.

But....but....the defense now is so much different than it was before.

How'd I do? Isnt that the standard argument in the anyone vs. mj debate?

+1, the biggest problem with wade is lack of fitness last year, he seemed about 10 pounds over and now hes lean and ready to be the Wade we all know. Tim Grover for Prez 2012

He looked great.

Anyone else think that he was shooting the ball a little flat? I thought he usually shot it with some arc but last night I thought he was shooting very flat (not that it matters - they were going in!!)

Glad to see Wade back, and he does look to be moving well. But that windmill wasn't that good (by good dunker's standards), even if it was in-game.
