10/10 CSKA Moscow @ Orlando Magic
10/14 CSKA Moscow @ Toronto Raptors
10/18 FC Barcelona @ LA Lakers
10/19 FC Barcelona @ LA Clippers or Toronto Raptors
10/21 Lietuvos Rytas @ Golden State Warriors
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3509914After a summer so far noteworthy for the departures of several players from North America to Europe, three famous European teams will make the journey in the opposite direction in October for an exhibition tour against five NBA franchises.
Reigning Euroleague champion CSKA Moscow, Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona and Lithuania's Lietuvos Rytas will face the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors and, possibly, the Los Angeles Clippers at undetermined NBA venues...
The Euroleague American Tour tips off Oct. 10 with CSKA facing the Magic before the Russians fly to Toronto to play the Raptors on Oct. 14. FC Barcelona will play two games as part of the "Preseason Shootout" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, meeting the Lakers on Oct. 18 and either the Clippers or Raptors a day later. Rytas will play the Warriors at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Oct. 21 to culminate the tour.

I wish the Raptors would have refused to play these teams. Two embarrassing losses should have been enough.

Things involving NBA teams are usually considered NBA relevant.

Preseason games=garbage
It's like the JV team in a scrimmage against varsity. JV wants to prove themselves, Varsity already has their spot they could care less. JV wins, runs around school saying look what we did. On Friday nights they still play to a crowd of 50 people until the end of the game when the fans start piling in for the real game to begin.
Basically I don't think these games will prove anything.

They are during the preseason... not that big of a deal.
The Jazz were going to do a home and home with CSKA Moscow but with the rebels and junk in Russia they cancelled it about a month before, which is really too bad.

I hate when people make posts saying a topic should go somewhere else and not contribute to the post! youre not a mod!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways...yeah its gona be pretty cool. I dont care if its preseason its cool to have the international teams vs NBA teams even if its against second or third stringers. These games will help international players in the long run knowing how they can change their game or improve their game.

It's going to be fun seeing how CSKA's defense would work on an NBA court.

So Stern sets it up where Euro teams can beat up on Toronto, Golden State and the Clippers.
Why not have these Euro teams go against Boston, Detroit, San Antonio and see how they really fare.

GS Warrior is destroying the Euro teams. They wooped Efes with 60 point difference two years ago and last year they owned Zalgiris badly - 30 point difference.
10/14 CSKA Moscow @ Toronto Raptors
I can see CSKA wining here, but all other games are NBA team wins.

Lietuvos Rytas isn`t even in the Euroleague this season, I have no idea why they are playing against NBA teams...

Yep. The realgm headline says "three Euroleague teams". Even realgm doesn't seem to understand the Euoleague. Oh well, seeing how little US fans know about it, we might as well just give up. They don't even seem to understand what it even is.

WTF, what Euro team has a front court like Bosh/O'Neal with a point guard like Calderon? None. I'd be damn surprised if CSKA even gets close.
