quote me, mark cuban will sell the mavs

Post#1 » by thaAteam » Thu Jul 31, 2008 3:59 am

i been looking around lately and it seems the mavs brass have been sitting on their hands since the draft, they wouldnt spend the money to move up and get a pick and they are clearly atleaset one piece from a championship contender but the go after a back up center instead of filling the sg whole they have had. they could have signed davis or azuibuke cheap but cuban wont spend. hes also in the process of trying to buy the cubs so i think once its done he will sell, any thoughts?

Who knows what he'll do? I know I wouldn't count on what he says about it in public, though. He's a frickin' billionaire, and he's still young, so he might do anything to keep himself amused. He is the type of personality that would love the challenge of owning 2 high profile sports franchises in different cities at the same time. It would give him an excuse to fly around in that personal jet of his even more than he does now.

Don't blame him at all! More like I'm jealous of him (well, the money part. wouldn't wanna be him, would just like access to his bank accounts for a little while)
