Staff writer Eddie Sefko tells us that former Dallas Mavericks coach Don Nelson has won approximatley $6.3 million in his arbitration case with owner Mark Cuban, according to Nelson's attorney John O'Connor. The dispute was over money Nelson was expected to receive from the Ross Perot Jr. era of Mavericks ownership.

Don Nelson got a lot of money. He should just hang it up, chill with some hot young babes in Barbados.

Don Nelson should learn that his running and gunning no defense style of basketball is never going to win him anything in the NBA.

Good for Nellie. He's a big 'ol drunk, but there's something about him that you've gotta like. He's way too much of an oddball coach to ever win a championship, but he helped turn the Dallas franchise around when he was there. And after all, we're talking about a money squabble between two very rich people, so in the overall scheme, who really cares who won and who lost?! It was fun to watch, anyway.
