A 2nd American team

Post#1 » by AdamMorrison » Tue Aug 5, 2008 8:24 pm

Do you think if you put together another team of the best available American players they could beat the current team in a 7 game series? There are a lot of great players (KG, TD, Amare, PP) that didn't play because of their own choice or because of the youth movement or because they are simply too old to play 82 games + Olympics. (Young players KD, Beasley, Monta, Oden ect ) that could also play at the Olympic level.

Of course they won’t have the same depth or explosiveness as the current team. Put together the best team with the players available.

I can see that team beating the current ones, just because I think they can play together better

Yea, the current NBA team seems more like a roster with a lot of talented players who don't really complement each other while the second American team is built like an actual team. Not to mention the solid defense at each possession.
