A Lebron signing or hell even a Kobe signing would make a huge difference. These two are the two best players in the world, they are the best basketball has to offer right now. I'm saying what if they are able to take basketball mainstream globally, made basketball comparable to futbol/soccer. It's already on it's way to it's height and if Lebron brings it there, it could only help his legacy. If Lebron is able to capture a mainstream audience overseas and hook em like addicts on crack who knows what it would do.
And these scrubs that you're talking about, it sure seems like the world is catching up as they have won the past 3 world titles. I can't wait to watch the Olympics!

the game is already global..Lebron wouldn't make a huge difference..the fact that Euro teams are already looking at NBA players to sign means that basketball is already getting big overseas..Lebron signing would make a difference, but wouldn't be the reason that basketball starts being relative in their culture..
Jordan's effect would be MUCH bigger, because he brought the game back to the mainstream AND dominated the best competition in the world..Lebron would be dominating scrubs compared to the NBA's talent..
Euroleague's best arent scrubs.

its kind of funny that it seems like lebron is the only member of team usa who hasnt directly spoke of the euro situation...and his "close personal source" was what started all of this 50 million a year speculation
btw ljp24, i dont think kevin durant and co. will like playing 2 extra games than the rest of the league - nba schedule is 82 games not 84

The euro will not double against the dollar in the next 5 years. People who probably don't even know what 'Forex'' means shouldn't make currency valuation predictions.
Lebron: i will play any where
Lebron will always have Nike. his agent is licking his lips at all those euros.
