I would personally place LeBron ahead of Kobe but after that your list pretty much mirrors mine. I think Wade will really remind people how good he is, and establish himself alongside Kobe and LeBron.

KGs defense cannot be overrated. Amare will continue to be a beast. Wade is back but I hate he has no big man. Teams will win think 3 times before doubling Yao. Ducan is slipping. Dirk can't defend. Pierce is obviously the best player in the NBA and Kevin Martin should put up numbers.

You got kevin martin in front of Howard? You got KG number one? You got Amare in the top 5 over Yao and Howard when the man doesn't even know how to spell the word defense, but you penalize Dirk for not playing enough defense when he can score at a higher clip than Amare and has proven he can carry a team when he needs too. He also has a MVP yet you penalize him for defense and give Amare props cause he can score alot? Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Hard to lead a team when you're injured and sitting on the bench while the team drops 18 games straight and begins to tank for a pick. What was the Cavs record without Lebron?

wow..Amare Stoudemire is extremely overrated..the guy is a terrible leader..one of the worst defenders in NBA history..still immature on the court and makes terrible decisions..come on..

I'm expecting Lebron to claim the throne, as do a lot of people..but you can't ignore Kobe coming off an MVP season..he choked in the finals, but that should be expected by now..regardless, he's the current MVP, his team is still the favorite in the West..

health is the key here, and it looks like he's healthy..

there's an argument for both players..always tough to pick..

Yao is definitely last out of the 3 due to his injury problems..Paul gets the edge for the season he just had..but I'm expecting Dwight to do big things this year..
