Ok seriously, the Rookie-Sophomore game just sucks... Get rid of it... They dont even sell tickets to it anymore.. They just give tickets away to local elementary school students who dont even know who the players are... Also, the Rookies will never win -- Whats the point? They couldnt even win with Bron, Melo, Wade, Bosh, Kaman, Hinrich

Anyways -- they should make Friday night USA vs International game... Have the coaches pick the players for both teams... two 20 minute halves... 10 players on each team... That would be fun to watch imo

Saturday night will be dunk contest, 3 point shootout and all that (this is in the middle to give the All Stars who play in both games a day off)

Sunday will be East vs West...


Also, they should extend the break from Wednesday-Wednesday instead of just giving players Friday-Monday off... this will make it easier on the all stars who have to play in both the Friday and Sunday games... Because all the players who actually play in the All Star game dont even really get a vacation as they have to do stuff for "NBA cares" all weekend and are probably doing NBA promos and signing autographs the rest of the time... I definitely think the players would be ecstatic to get a week off in the middle of the long 82 game season... What do you guys think?

Don't feel bad for them. They earn about another 500k to 5 million dollars in sponsorship deals.

until the players start playing like in a regular game, the ASG will always suck to me.

They should make NFL vs NHL basketball game. I would watch that game.

WNBA All-Stars vs NBA Scrubs would be interesting.

For all events - Dunk, Skills, Three point, whatever - there needs to big a large cash prize (to the charity of the winner's choice) to make things more interesting. Playing for bragging rights doesn't put enough on the line.

USA vs the World. Then there would be some pride involved, the game wouldnt be as sloppy, and players would try hard in all 4 qtrs instead of just the last one.

i like the H O R S E idea, i think players would not want to get shown up by each other and they would try some crazy stuff which would be great excitement for the fans, and anybody in the league can qualify to play so it would make it really interesting, maybe have a HORSE tourney i would watch that for sure.

The best idea is to cancel it.

NBA players doing MMA would be great. Guys with personal feuds, inside the ring, in the middle of the court.
