DANNY GRANGER:
ScoutingtheNBA.com had this scouting report on Danny Granger coming out of college.
STN Ranks Number 5 overall Danny Granger whom was slotted as a 2 guard. His size made him an incredibly attractive high pick in the 2005 draft.

5. 2005 Danny Granger 6-8 New Mexico SF

How he will fare in the NBA: Occasional big game Starter 3rd or 4th best player on a playoff team.
STN CI-V prediction as a rookie 9.3
STN Max CI-V Prediction 25.7 (Which means on average he should be about 20.0 Ci-value)

25.7 - Places Danny Granger on the All-Star team at least once in his career, and on the ballot at least 3 times in his career.

In the 2007/8 Season Danny Granger salary evaluation came to the following:
#50. overall in the NBA
50. Danny Granger - CI-Value of 15.71
This equates to a salary of 8.7million per to 10.5million per
This means over a 6yr contract Danny would have a 63million dollar value. A very close range to that of Josh Smith and his impact with the Atlanta Hawks.

For Danny to be paid over 70 million would be out of his range. Andre Iggy had a 22.08 CI-Value and Josh Smith had a 19.71 Ci-Value.

If the Indiana Pacers are moneyball players they will strike a deal for his value and nothing more.

Danny Grangers value to the Indiana Pacers is about 63million over 6years.

Granger should get the same if not more than Iggy....I don't know how Iggy got that much but good for him!

I love Granger. He was NBA-ready, and was really your prototypical swing in terms of his frame.

He's developed extremely nicely

He's a very good 2nd wheel on a playoff team.

Worthy of at least $10 million, but an Iggy-type deal shouldn't really surprise.

Some could argue he's better than Iguodala, but nonetheless neither deserve 80mil. Both should get 6/65 tops.

Granger/Iggy are 2nd options in their prime. That's 2nd option money, 10-11mil per.

Danny Granger has a value to the Indiana Pacers of 8.73 x 6yrs = 51.4million

However if Danny is turned loose to get bids elsewhere <strong>dont be surprised to see someone offer Danny 6yrs/63million and that is his open market value.

So the argument about Andre Iggy and Danny Granger is not compatable financially speaking.
