Surprising breakout players

Which players will surprise majority of us and will have breakout seasons, regardless of how long they have been in the league?

My vote goes to Ray Felton. Playing under Larry Brown will do wonders for him, as he will know how to utilize his strengths.

Honorable mention would be TJ Ford. New offense-minded team, clear role of starting PG, surrounded by efficient 3pt shooters and smart bigs...

Chris Paul should come up to an MJ level.

But seriously, I am expecting Kaman to be better, Monta Ellis to be better, Kevin Martin to breakout too. Mike Conley should start making a difference as well. Danny Granger is really close of just going berserk on everyone too.

Kobe, Bron & Wade are the type of players that resemble the MJ Era, IMO. -- Just because of the style and position they play.

I think Paul gets more to the Magic level than the MJ level, but w/o a doubt he's going to only continue getting better.....

Rondo ;)
But really, last year meant a lot for him in terms of experience and confidence. He's an average midranger away from being 15-5-7 guy. He improved vastly last year in all possible ways, improving his jumpshot a lot. Getting a bit further along the way can make him a star.

Chris Wilcox. He should be playing 35 minutes a night next year and put up something around 17/9.

Hibbert should easily too be a 10/10 player in the NBA, and win RoY honors.

Yeah, but Hibbert breaking out won't be surprising since I've enlightened everyone here to his awesomeness on a near-daily basis.

The Magic level is the highest level there is, so I'm not sure what you mean.

I think Wade will be the break out player. NBA rules cater to his style of play, and he'll put up MVP type performances. He looks quicker than I've ever seen him. Not to mention he's even hitting jumpshots.

Surprising breakout?

Maybe not that surprising, but I think Rodney Stuckey & Wilson Chandler are two payers who could become absolutely huge contributors to their teams. Stuckey especially if Detroit goes 3-guard rotation of Billups/Hamilton/Stuckey.

But it all comes down to minutes.

I can see Luis Scola breaking out this season. He should average about 15 and 5 a game.

Chris Duhon should thrive under D'Antoni. Someone mentioned Wilson Chandler too, was a stud in summer league.

Al Horford. Easy answer. But I expect 15 / 11 from Horford this season.

You mean crapping out? lol He is better than that, you are selling him short on rebounds.

And yes.. Bucky has enlightened me... I am a believer.

The first half of the season will be a struggle

But starting the second half of the season I expect things to really start to click for Corey Brewer in 'Sota.

It shold be good to see him grow into the defense stopper he shold be

I am going to say that Gay becomes a legit star... and everyone and their mother will want his jersey.
