MELO

I'm a Nuggets fan so obviously I like Melo but something about him after Team USA's gold medal win bugged me.

Why's he trying to push his way into the Kobe, Wade and LeBron trio? He's always in photos or shown on TV with that group but you never see Howard, Bosh etc... with those guys. I think there are A class stars on Team USA (Kobe, Wade, LeBron) B class (Melo, Howard, Paul, Bosh, Williams) and then the F class (Kidd, Boozer, Prince, Redd). Melo should be with staying with the guys on his level.

It's kinda like Melo thinks he's on par with those A class guys but even as a biased Nuggets fan I know that's not the case, he shouldn't either.

I don't think he's pushing any trio. Melo is good friends with LeBron and Wade and he's a top player why wouldn't he be on the same pic. with them.

I can't believe this I mean even Denver fans are finding absurd points to bash him. And what's all these classifications and "he should be staying with the guys on his level" bs's. Hello!, this is the basketball team of USA, they don't have the Indian caste system.

Lol well in their minds i don't think there's an "A Class Star list" Or "B-Class Stars" They're just really good friends

Melo has always been good friends with Wade, Kobe, And LeBron And just because they're on another level doesn't mean he can't celebrate, take photos, or get camera time with each other Lol.

I didn't know there was a caste system on the Olympic TEAM.

Wow...

LeBron/Wade/Melo have always been the '03 trio since I can remember...since when does ability determine who you chill with? If thats the case someone needs to send Damon Jones this memo as soon as possible...

I know they are friends but Im sure they're all friends on the team. I know Dwight and LeBron are good freinds but I haven't seen them two together everywhere I look. Im not talking about who they celebrate with so much, it's more to do the with who is the face of the team. To me it's LeBron, Wade and Kobe, Melo shouldn't be in the that group. I want him to be hungry to reach that level not think that he's already there.

It's not about bashing Melo, it's just his mind set that annoyed me a little bit. Like the orginal dreamteam is remembered for Jordan, Magic, Barkley and Bird- The other guys are great players but those guys were the face of the team. That's all I'm trying to say, I think many of you have missed my point on the class system thing.

Thought about the same thing lol. If that was the case, the whole 'team' ideology and playing together is all bullcrap.

I don't see that there are any cliques in this team, there are obviously stronger friendships with each other eg. LeBron/Wade/Melo, or Bosh/Howard, but that doesn't mean they separate themselves with the rest of the team.

Melo isn't trying hard to be among the 'tier one' guys, they are all friends.

OK I admit maybe I was wrong when I think about it.

I'm probably reading too much into nothing.

Or just making something weird up.

Melo/LeBron/Wade will always been known for being 3 of the most complete teenage rookies the NBA has every seen. Although Wade is older; his MVP trophey put him in.

I loled at the lack of C or D class and the drop to the F class for our olypians.

So you are basically that you cannot really hang out or be friends with people on your own team if you are not as good as them.

There's obviously a cast system on TEAM USA.

That's why you don't see losers like Prince/Boozer/ hanging out with the upper echelon of Wade/LeBron/Kobe! Carmelo was obviously out of line as well! People need to learn their place around these parts, I tell ya...

On a serious note. I can't believe this is a thread.

LOLz the disconnect between some fans and the actual players/real life is crazy. I'd like to see the look on Melo's face if someone walked up to him and said. "Melo! step away from the camera..you ain't elite enough for this shot mane".
