What's your favorite nba team(s)? Why did u choose to like them?

The Raptors. They are so kyute and cuddly.

I'm assuming 90% of NBA fans choose to be a fan of their hometown team (or the team that is closest to them geographically). I am from the greater Toronto area and therefore I am a Raptors, Leafs, Bluejays, Argos, FC and Rock fan.

My favorite team is the Minnesota Lakers, because I think under Mikan we will be able to championships.

Why did I choose to like them? well, why not?

I'm a fan of the Houston Rockets, which may seem strange since I live in Vancouver Canada ( I've never even been to Houston). But the Rockets will always be my favourite NBA team because when I first got interested in the NBA it was the 1994 season when they won their first championship. I became addicted w/ basketball after watching Hakeem and the rest of the team play. Now I'm a hardcore bball junkie and it's all due to the Rockets.

Miami Heat.

Born & Raised, and will forever follow them. -- I'm in Charlotte, NC now, and still can't imagine supporting the Bobcats.

I like many teams but possibly the closest thing to a favourite team would be Knicks (seriously). I always enjoyed watching those epic playoff series against Heat, and it was great watching Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson, Allan Houston, John Starks, even Latrell "I've got a family to feed" Sprewell later. Hope they get back to being a good team soon.

Detroit

Lived in Michigan my whole life and I've always loved their team game mentality over superstars. Its not as exciting, but I just like it more I guess.

Pistons because 1. they have my favorite player 2. I grew up in Ann Arbor

My favorite team is whichever team is winning at the time or whichever team payed the most in free agency or brought in the biggest name in during the off season.

I was raised in Sacramento, so naturally the Kings are one of my favorite teams.

However, the Bulls were what made me love basketball, so always, the Bulls will be my favorite team.

For some strange reason, shortly before the Bulls, when I was mildly curious about basketball, I loved this Olajuwan guy, and after him I liked Francis, and then Yao. So the Rockets have always been one of my teams too. I don't know if I'll still feel the same if they ever not have a player I really like.

Teams that I have followed because of one guy include the Sixers/Nuggets (guess who?), and the Blazers (Oden).

Pistons.
Born in Michigan, spent my childhood in Florida, moved back to Michigan in high school, went to college in Michigan, went to work in the automotive industry in the Detroit area, been here since. Wouldn't matter where I moved to, it would still be the Pistons.

Los Angeles Lakers because of Kobe Bryant and hall-of-fame coach Phil Jackson

Toronto Raptors because they're a Canadian team

Phoenix Suns because of Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire

I like the Spurs. They are boring and use the death black unis. They are also full of dirty floppers.

I'm a die-hard warriors fan. I guess they're the closest team from where I live and they always had an underdog mentality ever since I watched them as a kid.

Bulls fan.

I'm a nineties kid born and raised outside of the US (so no hometown team), so it's only natural.

I like Utah because of Mormon.

well i have to say lakers not just because i grew up in LA and went to the forum all the time,but i did join a summer leage of basketball when i was ten and a big tall guy who later i found out was magic coached the team and i got to know him very well.later in life maybe 10 c years i meet him again in front of one his movie theaters and he called me by my name,wow he still rememberd me.i bleed purple and gold now.

the Spurs are my team because of Tim Duncan..simple enough..
