Alonzo has about a 60% chance of getting in..I think the kidney pushes him in IMO..he was certainly a dominant player in his prime..MVP candidate..he got a ring as a role player, but still got it..he won't get in right away, but I think he gets in..
Mutombo..I'd give him around 70%..for me, he's definitely a HOFer..I feel like his defense made an impact just as much as some HOFers that are in strictly for their offense..he's been a dominant defender for most of his career, and even contributes now when he's on the court..his DPOY awards can't be ignored..his prime was against some of the best C's you'll find..his defensive stats are elite..great rebounding numbers..
Kemp isn't getting in..he was a great player in his prime, but he doesn't have as many accomplishments to get him in..his off the court issues will also have an effect..
Grant Hill has a 50% chance..his prime and college career, plus his reputation as a great guy could push him in..a ring would help..
Penny isn't getting in, didn't play at an elite level for long enough, and is no longer relevant in today's league..it's a shame though, he easily gets in if he stays healthy..
Tim Hardaway is tough..he has the stats, and was certainly one of the best PG's for a while..but just like many guys in today's league, he's probably going to miss out because he couldn't win something, which is something an all-star needs(if you're an all-star, and not an elite player)..50%..
KJ- same as Tim Hardaway..50%..
Nash is a 100%..2 MVP's is easily enough to get you in the HOF..
Ben Wallace is in the same boat as Mutombo, but he has a ring to back himself up as well..I wouldn't put him ahead of Deke, but the media might..I think he has about a 70% chance of getting in..I think he's probably a HOFer too, even though I found him to be overrated..
Dennis Johnson..I'd put DJ in the HOF..key contributor to championship teams, has a finals MVP, great defensive accomplishments..
Mark Eaton..he should get consideration for being a specialist, just like the "scoring specialists", but I wouldn't put him in though..he probably makes it if he was a key role player on championship teams though IMO..
Dennis Rodman..100% yes..he better get in..
Carter, McGrady, Miller and Allen are in the same boat for me..Allen got a ring, but he was a #3 option and wasn't consistent..1 more ring definitely gets him in..Miller was a great player, and should get more consideration for his playoff performances, but he's a 50% for me since he never won it all..Carter and McGrady are the same as the others, both dominant scorers in their primes, but they need to win something to make them locks..they're 50% as well IMO..
Pierce will get in..he was the same as the guys before me, but he won a ring as a #2, and took over in the finals..the injury will get him extra points too..Manu is the same..he was never as good as any of these guys in their primes IMO, but he has 3 titles and international success, which will push him in..
