Uh oh, finally they aren't predicting for the Pistons to tank which means we probably will.

I thought the West predictions are probably pretty close.

Wow, an ESPN prediction that actually makes sense. Never expected this was going to happen.

That is stupid. 45 wins isn't gonna make the playoffs in the West.

Last year could have been a fluke. Its rare for a every playoff team in a conference to win atleast 50 games. Probably wont happen again.

^The east is tougher and the bad teams got better.

It'll still be a really close race for the playoffs, but the number needed to get in should drop

the east rankings are spot on imo.

west are close too. despite referencing the ellis injury, i have a feeling they collected these votes before it was widely reported.

funny that stephen a smith wasn't one of the 25 people voting.

They all look about right to me. I'm surprised the predictions actually made sense.

So, the Lakers will have Pau Gasol from the start of the season and Bynum will return, yet they win 2 less games?

Awesome.

Awesome.

And the Blazers add Oden, Bayless, Fernandez, then include the growth of our young players, and we only win 3 more games.

I don't like these rankings much.

I thought that would have given up on this BS after 90% of the so-called experts picked the Lakers to win the finals last year.

I guess this season we won't get to listen to Nets fans saying that ESPN/Hollinger always hates on them.

Wiz fans?

I think they were a little conservative when it came to teams winning lots of games, and losing lots. They put to many teams in the middle area.

However the ranking of the teams is pretty mich spot on.

I think the warriors are too high with montas injury, but i really cant nitpick too much.

SportsNation REAAAALY hates Utah..51 as too little and right on the money? So they'll have a worse month than they had in December last year? They had 54 wins last year and had their worst month in franchise history.

Boston had 66 wins last year and only have 55 here, San Antonio had 56 last year and only 51 here, the Rockets had 55 wins and only have 53 here (and they had the biggest off season acquisition of all).

All of the top teams have less wins in these predictions, not just Utah. Get over it.

wins aren't really what people should be looking at, simply the rankings. with over 25 people putting in votes, wins are going to be all over the place. rankings among the votes are going to be more consistent and it shows.
