Would your team want Jose Calderon?

Seeing as he is the new scapegoat over at the Raptors board and December 15 is almost here... if the Raps decide to trade him, would your team want/need him?

Just wondering...

Raptors fans are outta of their damn mind.

And my team (Nuggets) wont make a move for him (Chauncey). I would consider it, since Calderon's prime matches Melo's and Nene's.

We can use a backup point in the worst way possible. Could he handle playing behind super TJ Ford?

Personally, I wouldn't want him traded. I just don't know why the other Raps fans are putting the blame on him

I'd take anyone with an expiring deal. Signing Calderon long-term was the biggest mistake.

Jose is a pylon on defence

you just cant win in this league if your pg cant play defence. its so easy for other pg's to blow by pass him which causes our defense to collapse

we need a pg who can guard other teams pg so that other teams will have a hard time setting up their offence if they're being guarding heavily

All these teams we've faced have exploited Calderon's terrible defense. Nearly every PG who's matched up against Calderon this season has scored more than their PPG average, while shooting high percentages. Not only do those PGs blow by him for the easy bucket every time, but it puts pressure on Bosh and O'Neal to stop them.

First off, Calderon's defense is 10 times worse than Nash's. Second, How far has that two-time MVP gone with that defense of his?

Calderon's a good player, but I don't want him as my starting point guard for the next 5 seasons.

That's their job. In today's NBA you can't guard a quick opponent easily so you have to funnel them to help defenders. I've watched the Lakers get burnt in the same way but they recover with their bigs better.

How far do you think that the Toronto frikkin Raptors would go? Did you and your minions really think that the Raptors were a contender or something? LMAO

Calderon's defense aint that bad. With Spain, with an actually (well) coached system, he is just a slightly worse than average defender, that's it. A 27-32 year borderline All Star PG at 8$ million a year is a bargain. You just don't deserve what you have. At all.

When the hell did I say they were contenders? This team is supposed to be a playoff team and is 3 games below .500 with Calderon given a starting role this season. I put all the blame on him and his garbage defense. Colangelo traded the wrong guy.

Yeah. The 6 game below .500 Indiana's PG was the right guy. After all, he has All-Defensive team status. Like I said, Raptors fans don't deserve what they have.
