Agreed. Even in the 2nd quarter when the Wolves were up big, you could just see it in his eyes. Attacking the rim when he could have settled for an open jump shot, diving on the floor for every loose ball, and beasting on the offensive glass. That passion to win every game and do anything it takes to do so, is something that just not all superstars have.

Missed it but thats amazing. I remember Voshon Lenard dropping 29 or 30 in Q on the W's, its insane seeing somebody get that hot.

I watched the 3rd quarter over now, Melo really hustled in the beginning of the quarter and scored inside. Then the outside game opened up and he hit like 4 or 5 3's in a row. That was a nice display right there.. Great job Melo!

33 points on 12-15 FG (4-5 3FGA) and 5-6 FT. Amazing. In the other recent 30 point quarters (one or two by Kobe and one by someone else I forget), the players had 12-17 FTA in the quarter. Melo's quarter was amazing in that he was making buckets, and making them at a 75% clip to boot.
