The General Discussion board aka the Kobe board

I know this'll get locked, but i'm just making the point that there are too many topics on this boards first page that are about the same players or same teams...
There are 22 non-stickied topics on the general board, of those 22..
5 are about Kobe
3 are about LeBron/Cavs
3 are about Toronto
3 are about Phoenix....
that's 14/22 topics about 4 teams/players...the rest is about the other 26 teams in the league.....
i know the general board is about general discussin, but can we get more creative topics, and possibly some merged topics, just so i don't have to read the same junk on the same players and teams?
