If a team has "money" left over can they use it next season?
IE, If a contract is up and with that space they sign one free agent for like half of the value of that expiring one. . .Is the other half good next year if they don't touch it? Or do they have to use it that year

Re: Question
The Salary cap is year to year.
For example the Thunder are about 25 mill under it right now, if they dont use that money, its just money saved, its not money they can add onto next years salary cap.
With the salary cap there is no "saving for next year in that sense.
