IF Yi maintains his recent level of playing, he could really be voted in. Though still undeserving, but it'll be of a lesser joke to get Stern's attention. So, mind you "counter voters", be carefull waht you wish for :wink:

The problem with Yi making it is that it won't push a Garnett or other big name off the team, it will probably end up costing a guy like Danny Granger a roster spot.

I don't like or watch All Star games, but being voted on by the coaches is a decent honor for a young player, and it would be a nice thing for the Pacer franchise, as well.

Danny is understandably on the bubble because of the Pacers' record. It would be one thing for him to lose out to a guy like Hedo or Lewis (playing for a team with the third best record in the league), but the 5th leading scorer in the league losing out to a pedestrian player like Yi would be a farce.
