Houston Rockets. They've survived with one of Tmac/Yao plenty before. Healthy Tmac with Brooks, Battier, Ariza, Scola and great defense makes the playoffs

Steve Nash has been declining at a rapid rate. The Suns will be a lottery once again this season.

I also dont think the Rockets will survive if Yao is out all season long.

My surprise pick is the Clippers. Clippers vs Lakers in round 1. Battle of LA!

lol, are you sure about that? After the All Star Break(when PHX started running again), Nash put up 17.4 ppg, 9.9 apg, and recorded his 3rd straight season of 50/40/90 percentages, becoming the first player in history to do that 3 straight seasons. He would have done it 4 straight seasons but one season he shot 89.9% from the line instead of 90

I think the Warriors get it, Ellis is healthy again and Randolph and Monster Morrow should be getting plenty of minutes

Well Nash just wants to have fun and he doesn't care about winning so it's going to depend on how much the other 12 players want to win. I think the Suns make it though because Amare is in a contract year and he wants a max deal from some team so whether they keep him, trade him or he leaves he's going to try and prove he deserves the max.

a frontcourt of griffin/kaman/camby will lead the clips past any of those remaining teams.

I think OKC manages to squeeze into the 8th seed.

PHX missed the playoffs last year now Shaq is gone I don't see them making the playoffs.

The Clippers, and their reputation proceeds them, are not making it.

If not OKC I'd go with the Warriors but Nelly needs to get on meds for his roster imbalance.

I mean, if you're picking OKC, you're basically saying they will have between a 20-25 (probably closer to 25) game improvement over last year. That's pretty optimistic.

Phoenix wins this one, but I think they could go anywhere from 5-8 really... but cracking the top 4 is gonna be hard.

Not so optimistic when you consider that they had an atrocious 3-29 start last season.
