This is LeBron's best quote ever.

Did you know George W Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was part of a failed military coup in the leadup to World War 2 which tried to assassinate the president and install a Nazi dictatorship in the United States, allied with the Axis powers? How the hell did Prescott Bush father a child and grandson who would become presidents afterwards? Why weren't that family purged forever from the American political landscape?

Ridiculous.

Everybody knows that the United States is under the thumb of the Illuminati.

It goes way over the Bush family's heads. :)

There is no point. It's not a question that you are supposed to get any real information from. So LeBron took a non serious question and gave a nice fun answer.

I would pay to watch him do it too.

What did you think the point was? Did you think the answers to all of lives problems were going to be asked by Maxim? Answered by LeBron? Have anything to do with dunking?

I wasn't looking for answers to "all of 'lives' problems", just a more creative response than that. He's probably scared to name a big time player by name, anyway.

Awesome answer. This makes me like LeBron even more. I hope that (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Bush gets a chance to read his answer.

It was definitely a better answer than I would have expected from him.

Bron is a demoCANT not a republiCAN... JUST KIDDING

GREAT QUOTE LeBron has finally come out of his shell... remember when he use to only give SAFE answers for every question.

Jordan would never say anything like this he would say Republicans buy shoes too. Nike probably called James.

If LeBron wants to get in good w/ Bama he needs to win lots of rings an make his way to the whitehouse the good old fashioned way

It's interesting reading the comments in that article vs here. I guess we're a lot more forgiving.

I'd have to say, those people are mighty sensitive. So they assumed that Lebron is racist because he hates Bush, a White person. Couldn't it be because he hates Bush's war-mongering attitude?

Actually, I'd say it's a pretty safe move to diss Bush in front of the media. He's certainly not been the first to do that and Bush isn't exactly one of the more beloved characters around. Given what we know from LeBron's typical press releases though, I would agree that this is the most daring thing he's said so far. Props to the man, I would actually love to see it happen.

It's a dumb answer because it's a dumb question. I am a bush-disliker, but this quote is 3 years late. Piling on now is actually safe... I'd of liked this more in 06. With that said this and the Olympic Gold are two reasons why I'm starting to come around on James.
