KG yes, Duncan no. Timmy's game is not predicated on athleticism. He hasn't been able to jam in people's faces and jump like crazy since his early days but he's still dominant because of his amazing footwork, his post repertoire which is better than any other current NBA players, his brilliant movement on defense, and his superior passing abilities.

they're big names for a reason....

they had superior college careers, high school careers, work ethics, athleticism...

u dont lose them overnight unless your game is fully depended on athleticism

like stromile swift

tim duncan is gonna be effective for a long time....

same with kobe...

kareem played into his 40s

shaq has 1 year left him at an all-star level...then he's done

Vince is the obvious answer, if it isn't this year (I'd be shocked if it wasn't) 2010 will be painful.

Does this question mean athletic ability and/or skill wise? If we're talking about that then it's KG. Knee injuries seem like the hardest injury to overcome for someone his age.

He's played pretty well preseason and as long as Doc keeps his minutes down, he should still be effective. I think it's obvious his production will go down a bit, but I don't think he will drop off like some people seem to think.
