I'm a Celtics fan and even I believe Lebron doesn't get many phantom calls. He may get some, but so do many other superstars. Lebron actually gets hacked most times he drives and doesn't get a call.

He's an amazing player, the causal basketball fan likes LeBron and he doesn't have much baggage unlike other superstars in recent basketball history. Refs have no reason not to favor him. He's simply the present and future of the NBA.

Whats more annoying it that basically the Refs dont have the nuts to call fouls against James. Considering his playing time and way to play and he is averaging what, 1,7 fouls a game? Thats a big lol...

Maggette doesn't get phantom calls, but HE the one who initiates the contact most of the time, I just wonder how a NON-star player like him gets to the line so often. He's usually the one jumping into his opponents.

I like the fact that LBJ doesn't offensively flop nearly as bad as a lot of good offensive players (Chauncey, Kevin Martin, Jamison), but I think he works the refs a little too much.

When he's on the court, his team never commits a foul.

It's the same problem with the league. There are two ways to call it, you assume there was a foul or you actually see the foul, with superstars if the ref thinks there could have been a foul he calls it, with the lesser players they actually have to see the foul.

Ref's just suck in the NBA.
